Dr. Carly has a multi-faceted background in dentistry, having experience in high-end private practice, public health, non-profit, and volunteer settings. Dr. Carly enjoys working with all types of people and age groups and offers her skills in preventative and restorative dentistry, as well as oral surgery, endodontics, and removable prosthodontics. She is excited to now have her own office, where she can continue serving our community in the form of dentistry.
Dr. Carly graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR in 2014. She received awards for community service and endodontics during her time in dental school. Her undergraduate Bachelor of Health Sciences degree was from the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the prestigious President’s Senior Cup Award of Health, Arts & Sciences. Dr. Carly also was a scholar athlete in Women’s Soccer at OIT.
On Fridays, Dr. Carly also provides care via the White Bird Mobile Dental Clinics for low-income populations, school children, and teens in juvenile detention. At these clinics, she also mentors fourth year dental students from OHSU and ASDOH. Dr. Carly greatly enjoys serving the community and working with the students.
No matter what setting she practices in, Dr. Carly hopes to create a comfortable and friendly environment in which she can provide personalized, quality dental care to help patients achieve a lifetime of oral and systemic health. We have adopted this as our mission statement.
Outside of the office, Dr. Carly is active in the dental community as a Director at Large for the Lane County Dental Society and as a member of the Exploring Excellence Seattle Study Club and the Spear Study Club. These organizations allow her to grow in her profession by studying the latest dental information and technologies through the form of continuing education classes.
On a personal level, Dr. Carly is also an active member of her church, where she volunteers every other weekend. She also participates in indoor and outdoor soccer through various city leagues. Dr. Carly spends much of her free time with her husband of five years, Tyler (who is also a dentist), and Golden Retriever, Murphy. She also enjoys hiking, camping, travel, crafts, movies, and eating out with friends and family.
